Mission
- To ensure effective operations, maintenance, and optimization of the Transmission Network.
Description
- Ensure new CTN nodes, Huawei OSN nodes, and BWS nodes meet required standards and are ATPed before integration into the transmission network.
- Ensure the integration of new MSPP nodes and new PDH and SDH links into the Transmission network.
- Ensure faults are resolved on time and within MTTR.
- Ensure element and network synchronization configurations.
- Configure various types of network protection schemes.
- Ensure the provisioning of various types of TDM circuits for C7, voice, BTS, and data traffic; pseudo wires for 3G nodes; B integration on MSPP nodes; Ethernet pseudo wires on MSPP nodes; and NG-SDH nodes for WIMAX BTS integration and business data services.
- Ensure the implementation of various types of transmission cutovers and system change requests on the core network.
- Ensure IRU fiber vendors meet their SLA.
Educations
- First Degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fluent in English.
Experience:
- 3 – 7 years’ experience which includes:
- Experience working in a medium organization.
- Experience using multiplexers microwave, satellite and fibre optic transmission equipment.
