Job Title: Social Media Specialist
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage marketing and social media campaigns starting with strategy, ideation, execution, and measuring performance.
- Create content for all social media platforms, including editing, publishing and sharing.
- Capture and analyze the appropriate social metrics, insights and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns.
- Define most important social media KPIs.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
- Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media.
- Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies.
- Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, blogs, news).
- Building and maintaining profitable relationships with key customers.
- Utilize CRM tools in monitoring performance, managing pipeline reports and identifying new business opportunities.

Professional Experience
- B.Sc Degree in Marketing or Public Relations or relevant field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Excellent writing skills in English.
- Content creation and management experience.
- Prior experience with media or public relations.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
