Job Title: Sales Representative
Location: Ikorodu Area, Lagos

Job Summary

  • Our client  is looking for experienced and success-driven Relationship Managers (RMs) with proven experience in the management of retail and group loans in the informal markets sector.
  • If you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our services and products through email and phone, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and maintain monthly sales targets
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Manage and grow existing relationships effectively
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their business needs and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Participate on behalf of the company in market exhibitions
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Discovering and pursuing new sales prospects
  • Negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum of an OND
  • Minimum of 2 years Sales/Marketing (Microfinance) experience
  • Proven experience in Sales/Marketing in the Micro-Finance Banking sector
  • Proven experience in cash collection, savings mobilization and retail/group
  • Loans management in the informal markets sector
  • Proficiency in English and must reside around IKORODU Area (compulsory)
  • A good understanding of Lagos markets’ dynamics
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
