Job Summary

• The IT Officer is responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners in all locations. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests. Providing technical support across the company.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring the company’s computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Keeping records of all IT-related equipment
• Working with the internet service providers to ensure seamless internet connection in all locations.
• Ensuring that the call centre solution works perfectly well.
• Ensuring that the CUG lines are active.
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Testing new technology
• Test, evaluate, and make decisions about new technology for the business.
• Participate in business-wide meetings to provide insight into technical requirements.
• Possibly training more junior staff members
• Any other job that might be assigned by the IT manager

Experience & Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc in any discipline
• A higher degree will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of two years experience in a relevant field Knowledge of customer service experience in the aviation industry will be an advantage
• Must be able to work late hours and multi task.
