Job Title: IT Officer
Location: Eti Osa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone system
  • Making sure the company’s website and email are running well and manage downtime promptly
  • Assist in upgrading the IT systems across the location
  • Ensure all employees have functional and running systems across branches and internet connection for better information flow
  • Assist in carrying our periodic audit of all systems and recommend what need to be done about them
  • Ensure all other tech tools e.g., printers, scanners etc. and fully functional at all times.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
  • Assist protecting sensitive data, systems, and applications from external threats
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing

  • Assist in developing and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development
  • Assist in Monitor ERP system and the portal modifications technical and Functional to enhance business productivity
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 2 – 4 years work experience.
