Job Title: Head of Legal Unit
Location: Nigeria

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare Legal Opinions and advice on General legal issues.
- Provide Legal advisory and interpretation services on various aspects of existing lawand regulatory requirements.
- Provide advice on contentious and non contentious matters affecting the Bank.
- Ensure representation and participation on litigation and ensure follow-up as it affects the Bank.
- Follow-up on contracted external lawyers to procure legal opinions, services, interpretations and consultations.
- Review, investigate (searches) and authenticate securities offered as collateral for credit.
- Prepare, review and advice on MOUS, SLAs and all forms of contractual agreements between the bank and other parties.
- Supervision of registration and custody of credits securities property titles and legal documents.
- Preparation for Board meeting documentation and sundry tasks.
- General administration of the Bank’s secretariat.

Requirements
- LL.B, BL qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years work experience.
- Must possess leadership skills.
- Creative and innovative.
