Job Title: Financial Reporting Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- We are seeking a Financial Reporting Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will manage financial transactions and procedures and assist with budget preparation, financials preparation and management activities.

Responsibilities
- Manage Account Payables for all vendors to show accurate position at all times;
- Invoice pending Purchase Orders received for vendors on D365;
- Daily posting for all bank payments on D365;
- Post all transactions on D365;
- Update the ERP with financial data/transactions;
- Manage and maintain Intercompany accounts;
- Ensures adherence to accounting procedures and departmental standard operating procedure;
- Routine/monthly proof of general ledger for NGX Group and its subsidiaries;
- Review of branches Impress Account;
- Prepare Monthly Amortisation schedule, post on D365 and keep schedule/proof for audit purposes;
- Manage project accounts. fixed asset account, acquisition and depreciation;
- Prepare departmental report for performance management;
- Prepare quarterly returns for SEC for the NGX Group subsidiaries;
- Prepare budget templates/ budget report for NGX Group and its subsidiaries;
- Attend to internal and external audit requirements for NGX Group and its subsidiaries.
Person Specification & Required Qualification(s)
- B.Sc. / HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics or its equivalent;
- Professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, ACA will be an advantage;
- Minimum of 4 years cognate experience in a Financial Control unit of a Bank or a top Financial Services/Audit firm, or Investment Management Company;
- Strong understanding of Financial Services or Capital Market industry will be an added advantage;
- Demonstratable ability to be flexible, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguities;
- Ability to move between big picture and detail.
