Job Title: Clearing Officer
Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Accurately prepare daily progress report on import activities.
  • Collate and verify import documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness for processing.
  • Participate in the receipt of shipment to ensure consistency with shipment order.
  • Monitor and track location of shipment and advice user department, warehouse and stores department on the shipping progress.
  • Liaise with Terminal operators, NPA, Customs and Clearing agents for prompt clearance of vessels and consignment on arrival to avoid incurring demurrage.
  • Continuously maintain relationship with all regulatory agencies as required. NCS, NAFDAC, SON NPQS etc

  • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Social Science discipline or any related course.


  • At least 2 years related experience working in an FCMG sector.

The Person Must:

  • Have effective communication and interpersonal skills.Have good time management and organizational skills.
  • Pay great attention to details.
  • Have the ability to convey factual information clearly and concisely.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
